A simple cross-domain proxy host for "server-less" mashups

We had some mashup ideas we wanted to try out, but didn't want to host a server just for testing. Unfortunately you can't mash up pages in the browser without a back-end server. Then it struck us that what was needed on the internet today was a generic cross-domain proxy server. So we made one :) The service is free if you place our google ad on your finished mashup page.
